Description

RichCables offers custom wire harness solutions featuring Molex KK396 3.96mm pitch connectors, designed for exceptional performance and reliability. These connectors, recognized as a standard wire-to-board connection solution, serve as a larger counterpart to the KK .100 connectors. Widely used in a variety of applications, particularly within switching power supplies, the Molex KK396 connectors are typically found on both the primary and secondary sides of the circuitry.

Our expertise spans both wire-to-board and board-to-board connections, enabling us to provide tailored solutions that meet your specific requirements. The Molex KK396 connectors are available in configurations with 2-15 circuits for single-row options and up to 36 circuits for dual-row connectors. In addition, alternative connectors with the same 0.156" (3.96mm) pitch are available from numerous manufacturers, providing flexibility and ensuring compatibility across a wide range of applications.

These connectors come with two types of contacts: the standard contact and the "trifurcon" variant. The trifurcon contact, which features three contact points, enhances the current-carrying capacity and is ideal for applications requiring increased electrical performance.
